I’m Sam Dykstra, a wedding photographer based in New York City, documenting weddings across New England, including Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Europe.
My style is rooted in documentary photography with a splash of cinematic feeling, focusing on candid, unposed moments, the quiet glances, unexpected laughter, and genuine emotions that tell your unique story.

Having grown up immersed in the arts, from sculpture and painting to acting, photography has become where I feel most alive. I create with intention and deep respect for the people I’m honored to photograph.
